This is my 4th partial mash beer and tr tastes great. Keep mash temps to 65 deg c for a more attenuated beer

Ingredients (Partial Mash24.5 L)

  • 1.3 kg German 2-row Pils

    German 2-row Pils

  • .150 kg Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 1.5 kg Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1.5 kg Liquid Amber Extract

    Liquid Amber Extract

    Amber is used predominantly in the production of medium-colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters.

  • .2 kg Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 25 g Fuggle - 8.5 AA% whole; boiled 70 min

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

  • 15 g Cascade - 8.5 AA% whole; boiled 5 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 20 g Goldings - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 40 min

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Slight residual diacetyl and fruitiness; great for stouts. Clean, smooth, soft and full-bodied.
