Trying for a dark, rich stout, but style guidelines say it is a porter. Hey, but what's in name?

  • 10 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Black Roasted Barley

    Black Roasted Barley

    Unmalted roasted grain, it is the backbone of many stouts. Imparts a sharp acrid flavor characteristic of dry stouts. Gives "dryness" to a stout or porter ,more so than regular Roasted Barley.

  • .25 lbs American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • 2.49 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract
