  • 3 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 4 lbs Dry Extra Light; Muntons

    Dry Extra Light; Muntons

    Contains no colored malts or unmalted products; the light color of this product is achieved by using low processing temperatures and low-colored raw materials.

  • 1.0 oz Galena - 11.0 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Galena

    Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

  • 1.0 oz Willamette - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Willamette

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • 1.0 oz Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 3 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • 1 tsp Irish Moss - (omitted from calculations)

  • Wyeast 1024 Belgian Ale

    Wyeast 1024 Belgian Ale

    Banana-estery. Clove-like phenolics. Intended for abbey beers.

Notes

Steep grain @ 155 degrees for 40 min. Primary for 10 days @ 68 degrees. Secondary for 7 days @ 68 degrees. 3/4 cup priming sugar to bottle.
