wormwood hefewiezen
Specialty Beer • Extract • 5 gal
A wormwood hefewiezen. I don't use hops anymore just traditional beer herbs. Wormwwod gives a slightly phsycotropic effect with none of the sleepiness or depressing qualitys of hops.

Wyeast 3766 Cider
Wyeast 3766 Cider
Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.
Notes
I actually used 4 pounds 20 % agave 80% malt liquid extract. Boil the wormwood for 1 hour. The wormwood gives all the bitterness necessary and adds a phsycoptropic effect. It could have used some specialty grain.
