    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 1 lbs American Caramel 10°L

    This malt is light in color with a sweet caramel flavor. It is a great malt for light lagers and ales.

Notes

Single infusion mash, mash in at 154 degrees for a sweeter beer, 151 for a less sweet beer. Mash for 80 to 90 min's, sparge with 5 gal of 170 degree water. Boil for 1 hour, skim the scum, pitch the yeast at 70 degrees. Pri. ferment for 1 week, sec. ferm. 8 to 10 days, (when sg reading is steady).
