Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 1 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 5 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 1 lbs Dark Brown Sugar

    Dark Brown Sugar

    Imparts rich, sweet flavor. Use in Scottish ales, old ales and holiday beers.

  • 1 oz Wye Target - 9.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Wye Target

    Neutral high-alpha. Bred from Northern Brewer crossed with some Goldenings. Used for hopped malt extract and many English Ales.

  • 1 oz Challenger - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Challenger

    Popular bittering hop used primarily in British ales and lagers. Mild to moderate aroma, but quite spicy.

  • 1 oz Wye Target - 9.5 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min
