Maximum Pale Ale

Maximum Pale Ale

English IPA • All Grain • 13 gal

Matt G

Go for the buzz! High alcohol, intense hop flavor from home-grown hops (if you've got 'em), and moderate bitterness contribute to this serious concoction of malty goodness. Two pints on an empty stomach and it's lamp shade time. Definitely not a beer for all day drinking. If your water is already relatively hard skip or reduce the gypsum. Cut the recipe in half for a 6 gallon batch.
