Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.5 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 4.0 lbs Liquid Amber Extract

    Liquid Amber Extract

    Amber is used predominantly in the production of medium-colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters.

  • 3.5 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 2 oz Goldings - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • 2 oz Cascade - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 5 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.
