  • 8 lbs Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 4 lbs German 2-row Pils

    German 2-row Pils

  • 1/2 lbs Dextrine Malt

    Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • 1/2 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 1 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 1 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

    From one of the six Trappist breweries remaining in the world, this yeast produces the distinctive fruitiness and plum characteristics. Excellent yeast for high gravity beers, Belgian ales, dubbels and trippels.

Notes

Single step infusion mash at 153-155 to encourage malty, slightly sweet finish. Use orange blossom honey to enhance spicy, orange aroma. Ferment on warm side, 68-72 degrees, to encourage ester production. Try 10 days in primary, 10 days in secondary.
