Iv'e been brewing for 22 years, this is my first all grain, It is ready today, It came out of the seconday ferm. so clear, I thought it was a commercial micro, there are no words for the taste, this goes great with coconut shrimp, Bone-App. Chef "G"

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 7 9/16 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 1 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L

    Crystal Malt 80°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • 1 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 1 oz Hallertauer Mittelfrüher - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Fine, 'Noble'.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.
