Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 4 lbs Liquid Wheat Extract

    Liquid Wheat Extract

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1.5 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • .5 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • .5 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • .25 tsp Irish Moss - (omitted from calculations)

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.

Notes

All normal brewing activities for an extract batch. The Cherry Extract was added at kegging time. Only one ounce for just a hint of aroma and flavor.
