  • 10 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • .5 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 1 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 1 1/2 oz Liberty - 4.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Liberty

    Used mainly for finishing German and American style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild and pleasant.

  • 1 1/2 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

Mashed 82 minutes @ 152 degrees, no mash out. Added Honey to brew pot after boil began, took pot off flame to add honey to avoid scorching, boiled 70 minutes. OG 1.065 Fermented at 75 degrees at beginning, 6 days primary ending @ 72 degrees. Racked to secondary with 1 ounce of Cascade flowers in hop bag. 5 days in secondary, racked to corny keg at 72 degrees under 24 PSI of co2, Finishing Gravity 1.007. Held in corny for 4 days, seved on 5th day, delicous, but could of had more carbonation.
