very interesting beer, strong and floral,with very light body, the addition of a belgian yeast would create a belgain strong ale.

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 10 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2.5 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 2 lbs German Wheat Malt Light

    German Wheat Malt Light

    Typical top fermented aroma, produces superb wheat beers.

  • 1 lbs White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    Common household table/baking sugar. Lightens flavor and body of beer. Can contribute a cider-like flavor to the beer if not cold-fermented or used in large quantities.

  • 1 oz Chinook - 16.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • .5 oz Admiral - 8.4 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Admiral hops are known for their high acid content, delivering a bold yet smooth bitterness. They showcase notes of orange citrus and herbal undertones, making them an excellent choice for crafting more bitter Pale Ales and ESBs.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 8.3 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1 oz Admiral - 8.4 AA% whole; boiled 1 min
