Very pleasent hoppy flavor, my version of a "light" beer, easy to enjoy, make, & drink, so get brewing!

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 8 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2 lbs English Wheat Malt

    English Wheat Malt

    Light flavor, creamy head. For wheat beers, stouts, doppelbocks and alt beers.

  • .5 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • .5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 1 oz Centennial - 9.3 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 1 oz East Kent Goldings - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 10 min

    East Kent Goldings

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • 1 oz East Kent Goldings - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

  • 1 oz Centennial - 9.3 AA% whole; added dry to secondary fermenter

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.
