Discussion
Needs more Saaz

This brew came out good, a little light but very satisfying on hot summer days. Needs more Saaz in the finish and dry hop, perhaps doubling it would help.

I will try this on this weekend 2-9-03 and post updates. Should be a great Pilsner.
Second round final spec's

OK, today is Feb 22, two weeks after the brew date of the second attemp at this pilsner. O.G. was 1.054, final S.G. was 1.010. Really tastes great at bottling time, let's see what happens in 4 weeks.
Second batch, two months old

OK, this looks good, killer head that stays 3/4" thick to the bottom of the mug. Just the right balance of hops. This is the keeper recipe.
Third time around

This is the recipe that stays, no modifications to be made. What a great pilsner ... Very enjoyable brew.
I don't think this is a CAP

Paul, this beer sounds great, but I don't think it is a CAP. Looks more like a German or Bohemian pilsner. Should contain some maize or corn to truly be a CAP. You could try adding some next time you brew this and report back.

To clarify, you doubled the hops from what's shown in the recipe above?
