Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • .25 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 2.0 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 3.3 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .50 oz Hallertau - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Hallertau

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • .50 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • .50 oz Saaz - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • .25 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • .25 oz Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.

Notes

Place grains in 2 gallons of cold water, and bring just to a boil - remove grains. Add 1/2 tsp 15 minutes before end of boil. Use any good liquid or dry lager yeast.
