Ingredients (Extract, 6.5 gal)

Crystal Malt 40°L

Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

British Black Patent

Dry, burnt, chalky character. Use in porters, stouts, brown ales and dark lagers.

Liquid Light Extract

A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.
Notes
30 Minute seeping of grains in a grain bag and 2 gallons of water at 155 deg. Let seep off burner for additional 10 min. Discarded grain bag, added extract and 1/2 lb honey as well as Fuggles hops and boil for 45 min stiring to keep from boiling over. Added Chinook for 14 minutes and additional Chinook for last minute of boil. Cooled wort in ice water tub and added wort and 3 gallons of water to primary. Completed and Pitched California Ale Yeast on 3/13. We'll see how this one turns out!

I do experimental brews myself. Last batch was a modified IPA. Good stuff!
