with regards to the Clash My first attempt to get away from 'tins' and to flavour malt myself. Used an Ale Yeast as Sydney-Aus is too warm for lagering

Ingredients (Extract22 L)

  • 3 kg Liquid Wheat Extract

    Liquid Wheat Extract

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .25 kg Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 20 g Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Hallertauer Hersbrucker

    Mild to strong. 'Noble'.

  • 10 g Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Mild to strong. 'Noble'.

  • 10 g Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.
