Shawn,I like Chinook so I thought I'd experiement with it a bit. A little on the light side of standard ale.

Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 1 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

  • 6.5 lbs Liquid Amber Extract

  • 1.25 oz Chinook - 11.5 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 1 oz Chinook - 11.5 AA% whole; boiled 15 min
