Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 3/4 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 6 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 2.5 oz Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • 1 oz Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Hallertau

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 0 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1 oz Mt. Hood - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 0 min

    Used mainly for aroma and flavor in American and German style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant, light, and clean.
