Ingredients (Extract21 L)

  • 1.7 kg Extra Pale; Morgans

    Extra Pale; Morgans

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • .50 kg Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • .250 kg Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 40 g Perle - 8.2 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Perle

    Used mainly for its minty bittering and good green hop aromas in all non-pilsener lagersand wheats. Aroma is pleasant and slightly spicy

  • 20 g Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 25 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • Wyeast 2308 Munich Lager™

    Wyeast 2308 Munich Lager™

    A unique strain, capable of producing fine lagers. Very smooth, well-rounded and full-bodied. Benefits from temperature rise for diacetyl rest.

Notes

bring 2ltrs water to boil add perle hops boil 45 mins strain liquid & let cool. boil another 2ltrs water remove from heat add extracts & corn sugar dissolve, add sazz hops & boil for 25 mins, turn off heat, add perle hop liquid give a good stir & strian into fermenter add cold water to 21ltrs pitch & ferment at 20deg c additional equipment 1 2shady trees 2 hammock 3 1 lazy sunday afternoon
