Specialty IPA • All Grain • 45 L

UK Jester hops used not Challenger. Split batch with half fermented with WLP800 pilsner yeast. Water treated with calcium chloride as well as Gyspsum, small amount of magnesium sulphate. In 60litres of liquor: 6g Gypsum, 20g Calcium Chloride, 2g Magnesium Sulphate and 3g salt.

  • 8 kg Pale Ale; Crisp

  • 100 g Challenger - 8.0 AA% whole; boiled 5 min

    Challenger

    Popular bittering hop used primarily in British ales and lagers. Mild to moderate aroma, but quite spicy.
