  • 6 lbs German 2-row Pils

  • 2 lbs German Light Munich

    For a desired malty, nutty flavor. Lagers, Oktoberfests and bock beer.

  • .5 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • .5 lbs Dextrine Malt

    Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • 1 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 1 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • .5 oz Eroica - 14.2 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Mainly used for bittering and good aroma for pale ales and dark ales, and also stouts. The aroma is quite strong but not unpleasant.

    Wyeast 2112 California Lager™

    Particularly suited for producing 19th century-style West Coast beers. Retains lager characteristics at temperatures up to 65F, and produces malty, brilliantly-clear beers.

Notes

Mash grains for 1 hour @ 152 degrees. Use 9 Qts of water. Sparge with sparge with 5 gallons of 170 degree water. Bring wort to boil add 1/2 oz. of Magnum hops, add 1/2 oz. of Goldings hops at the following times; @ 30 minutes (from end of boil), at 15 minutes, and @ 2 minutes. Let wort cool to 180 degrees and add 4 lbs. of crushed blueberries. Let blueberries steep for 1/2 hour. Cool wort to btween 70-78 degrees, pitch yeast, and have a home brew!
