  • 0.25 lbs Kiln Coffee Malt; Malteries Franco-Belges

    Kiln Coffee Malt; Malteries Franco-Belges

    This malt is obtained by a strong torrification process of normally kilned malts originating from selected barleys. This malt reinforces the taste and mellow flavor of the beer. It also reinforces the color of the beer, but does not color the foam.

  • 0.25 lbs Weyermann Carafa® II; Weyermann

    Weyermann Carafa® II; Weyermann

    Carafa I, II and III also are available de-husked. Adds aroma, color and body.

  • 0.50 lbs Chocolate Malt; Breiss

    Chocolate Malt; Breiss

    Rich roasted coffee flavor. Characteristics & Applications: • Chocolate Malt is used in all beer styles for color adjustment with minor or no flavor contribution. • Use 1-10% for desired color in Porter and Stout Beer. • The chocolate flavor is very complementary when used in higher percentages in Brown Ales, Porters, Stouts and other Dark Beers. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 6-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • 1 oz Palisade™ - 7.7 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min


    Palisade™ is an aroma type cultivar bred by Yakima Chief Ranches. Used for its aromatic properties and moderate bittering.

  • 1 oz Crystal - 3.2 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min


    Mild. 'Noble'. Used mainly for its aroma which is mild and pleasant.

  • 1 oz Vanilla (extract) - (omitted from calculations)

    Vanilla Beans have a sweet, perfumed aroma with a woody or smoky flavor. Pure Vanilla Extract has a similar aroma. To obtain Pure Vanilla Extract, cured Vanilla Beans are steeped in alcohol. According to law, Pure Vanilla Extract must be 35 percent alcohol by volume.

    Coconut (Cocos nucifera) belongs to the Palm family Arecaceae and is found growing around the world in lowland, tropical and subtropical habitats. Classed as a fruit, it is actually a one-seeded drupe. What we buy in shops is the "stone" of this drupe, consisting of a hard shell (the endocarp) which encloses the seed. The meat has a mild nutty sweet flavor.

This turned out great! It needs at least 3 weeks for conditioning.
