    Premium 2-Row Malt; Great Western

Our most popular base malt, perfect for all beer styles, especially American ales and lagers. With moderate protein and enzyme levels and a very clean, smooth finish, our Premium 2-Row Malt is ideal for all-malt beers and for mashes containing moderate levels of adjunct.

  • 2 lbs White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

Common household table/baking sugar. Lightens flavor and body of beer. Can contribute a cider-like flavor to the beer if not cold-fermented or used in large quantities.

  • 1.5 oz Saaz - 2.4 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • 1 oz Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

Great Belgian, but too strong for Stella Clone

Nice clean Belgian blond ale with all the character of a Trappist. Would need to be watered down for a Stella clone to Stella 5% ABV. May attempt with portion of batch.
