Notes

PLAN Mash @ 154F (68C) Ferment @ 67F (19C) Issues w/ mash temp... initially to low drained and heated 1Gal at time like yesterday eventuall got to 150 for about 20 min before draining to boil was rushing to keep hair appoint.... good exercise, able to mash & brew in 3 hours... smaller batch ended w/ 4-5 Gal BRIX 15, 1 pkg yeast fermented in Cola and Pink Kegs -10-6-13: lost 1/2 of it from screwed up hose connections....*&^%$ rousted kegs 2x since pitch to encourage complete ferment -has astringent after taste??? ot sure why.... possiblely scortch from heat stick?????
