  • 4.5 lbs 2-Row Brewers Malt; Briess

    2-Row Brewers Malt; Briess

    Mild malty flavor. Characteristics & Applications: • Base malt for all beer styles • Smoother, less grainy flavor than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Slightly higher yield than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Slight lower protein than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 2-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • 1 lbs Cara 45 - Caramel Malt; Dingemans

    Cara 45 - Caramel Malt; Dingemans

    Dingemans Cara 45 is a medium-amber crystal malt that will impart a rich, caramel-sweet aroma and full flavor, as well as intense color.

  • 5.75 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .5 lbs Maple Syrup

    Maple Syrup

    Imparts a dry, woodsy flavor if used in the boil. If beer is bottled with it, it gives it a smooth sweet, maple taste. Use in maple ales, pale ales, brown ales and porters.

  • 1 oz Challenger - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 120 min

    Challenger

    Popular bittering hop used primarily in British ales and lagers. Mild to moderate aroma, but quite spicy.

  • .5 oz Chinook - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Chinook

    Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • .5 oz Simcoe® - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Simcoe®

    Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • 1 oz Citra® - 12.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Citra®

    Citra™ is a special aroma hop variety developed by the Hop Breeding Company (a joint venture between John I. Haas, Inc. and Select Botanicals Group, LLC). It was released in 2007. Citra™ has fairly high alpha acids and total oil contents with a low percentage of cohumulone content. The variety imparts interesting citrus and tropical fruit characters to beer.

  • 1 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% whole; added dry to secondary fermenter

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.
