  • 1.00 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 12.00 lbs CBW® Golden Light Liquid (Malt Extract); Briess

    Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • 2.00 oz Simcoe® - 13.0 AA% whole; boiled 1 min


    Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

    5.2 pH Stabilizer

    Five Star 5.2 pH Stabilizer. A proprietary blend of food-grade phosphate buffers that locks in your mash and kettle water at a pH of 5.2, regardless of the starting pH. It also reduces scaling and mineral deposits on brewing equipment. 1 pound. Use at the rate of 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water.

    Wyeast 1764-PC ROGUE Pacman

    A versatile yeast strain from one of Oregon’s leading craft breweries. Pacman is alcohol tolerant, flocculent, attenuates well and will produce beers with little to no diacetyl. Very mild fruit complements a dry, mineral finish making this a fairly neutral strain. Pacman’s flavor profile and performance makes it a great choice for use in many different beer styles.


Added 1/2 tsp Gypsum to 5 gal of cold water, steeped 1lb of C-40 in a grain sock. Removed at rolling boil. 60min 2.0oz of Summit Hops 20min 1.0oz of Summit Hops 15min 1 Whirlfloc Tablet 10min 1.0oz of Amarillo Hops 5min 1.0oz of Amarillo Hops 2min 2.0oz of Amarillo Hops 1min 1.0oz of Simcoe Hops 0min 1.0oz of Simcoe Hops Secondary Dry Hopping: 2.0oz of Summit Hops Brew Date: 1/19/13 Secondary & Dry Hopped: 2/27/13 Bottled: 4/4/13 OG: 1.094 FG into Secondary: 1.023 FG at bottling: 1.020 Final 1.5 gals bottled on: Sat Aug 10th
