  • 0.75 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

    Super-high alpha hop with a low cohumulone content and a strong orange/tangerine citrus character.

  • 2.00 oz Centennial - 10.1 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 1.00 oz Whirlfloc Tablets (Irish moss) - (omitted from calculations)

  • Wyeast 1764-PC ROGUE Pacman

    Wyeast 1764-PC ROGUE Pacman

    A versatile yeast strain from one of Oregon’s leading craft breweries. Pacman is alcohol tolerant, flocculent, attenuates well and will produce beers with little to no diacetyl. Very mild fruit complements a dry, mineral finish making this a fairly neutral strain. Pacman’s flavor profile and performance makes it a great choice for use in many different beer styles.

Hop Schedule 60 min 1.5 oz of Columbus 45 min 1/2 oz of Summit 20 min 1/2 oz of Columbus 15 min 1/2 oz of Summit + 1 Whirlfloc T tablet 10 min 1/2 oz of Summit 5 min 1/2 oz of Summit 1 min 1oz of Centennial 0 min 1/2 oz of Centennial -0 1/2 oz of Centennial while straining wort Created a uniquely flavored wort with bitter flavor followed by a sweet after taste. The last min strain provided much more oils from the Centennial Hops, even a small "oil slick" visible on the surface. OG 1.056 (lower than expected) TG 1.012 Brew Date 12/26/12 Secondary 1/10/13 Dry Hopped 1/19/13 Bottled 1/21/13
