    Pronounced caramel flavor and a red color. For stouts, porters and black beers.

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

Steep grains at 148 degrees for 30 min. 154 degrees for 15 minutes. 158 degrees for 15 minutes. Sparge with one gallon of water at 170 degrees. Add DME at 60 min. Add LME at 15 minutes. OG 1.038. FG 1.014. 3.1% ABV.
