  • 0.75 lbs Belgian Biscuit

  • 0.25 lbs Maris Otter Pale

  • 0.25 lbs Belgian Special B

  • 0.75 lbs Crystal 60; Great Western

    Crystal 60; Great Western

    Similar to C40 but with a more extensive roasting to a target color of 60° ASBC. Has a more pronounced caramel flavor to coincide with the color.

  • 5 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Slight residual diacetyl and fruitiness; great for stouts. Clean, smooth, soft and full-bodied.

Notes

Mash in 1gal at ~155 degrees for 60min, sparge grains twice with ~2gal water to make for a 3gal boil. Add ~1lb of the DME and bring to boil. Add rest of DME and honey at end of boil, turn off heat and stir it all in reaaaaallll good. Primary ~7 days, secondary ~7 days, bottle and enjoy in 10 days or so. Yeeehaw!
