Commodore Perry's Pale Ale

Commodore Perry's Pale Ale

American Pale Ale • Extract • 2.5 gal

APPA

A batch I came up with for something delicious yet easy to brew on the boat. This is a very simple recipe that tastes awesome with a citrus hop flavor that’s still acceptable to someone who isn't a hop head. Try with different yeasts for different flavor profiles, this one also works exceptionally well with Nottingham dry yeast for a very mellow yet tasty flavor. Steep grains at normal temperature in 1.5 quarts water. For a faster brew to bottle time I skip the secondary when making this at the dock.
