Spotted Tongue Dark and Wheaty

Spotted Tongue Dark and Wheaty

Brown Porter • All Grain • 5.5 gal

Homebrewer Stan

Using some of the malt I bought in Tucson earlier this year. This beer was brewed on 8/25/2012. Actual measured weights of dark grains as follows: 5.7 oz crystal rye 6.0 oz belgian coffee 3.8 oz pale chocolate 9.0 oz chocolate wheat Caramel Vienne malt is actually "Abbey" malt, not an option. Hops are actually a Czech variety called "Sladek", not an option. It is a hybrid of Saaz, so used that and adjusted AA to that of Sladek.
