  • White Labs WLP300 Hefewizen Ale

    White Labs WLP300 Hefewizen Ale

    This famous German yeast is a strain used in the production of traditional, authentic wheat beers. It produces the banana and clove nose traditionally associated with German wheat beers and leaves the desired cloudy look of traditional German wheat beers.

Mash @152 for 60 min. Boil 75 min.

Mashed @ 152° for 60 min. Boiled 10 min. to clear hot break. Added hops. Boiled 60 min. Cooled to 75° and pitched simple starter. Visible fermentation in hours. Blow off needed on next day! Fermenting @ 68°. Smells gooooooood.
