The base recipe is a Father's Day Brew which is an excellent high alcohol beer with wonderful aroma, flavor, and color. This is a PARTIAL MASH

Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

Notes
This is a variation of Father's Day Brew, adding more grain (caramel)and the addition of a whole vanilla bean to the primary fermenter.

This is NOT an Extract Brew

Obviously it is not an extract and is a partial mash. On the alcohol content: It is not as prevelent as you may think. In fact this beer is dangerous...1 and you are fine, 2 tastes better, but then you are passed out on the couch! :-)

I would like to hear from the writer of this recipe, for i was wondering if he/she had ever trued this recipe. Also, i was wondering how the rating for this beer increases a few points ever 20 minutes???
