  • 0.5 lbs Rye Crystal; Simpsons

    Rye Crystal; Simpsons

    Seasonal autumn flavour – sweet and malty with warm bread-crust flavours.

  • 0.15 lbs Pale Chocolate; Crisp

    Pale Chocolate; Crisp

    Roasted coffee flavor.

  • 0.31 lbs Rye Malt; Weyermann®

    Rye Malt; Weyermann®

    German-grown top-quality rye (2004 harvest). Product Characteristics: Lends biscuit-like, smooth, almost oily, (typical) rye component to finished beer. Recommended Quantities: Up to 30% of total grain bill (occasionally used up to 50%). Suitability (beer styles): All specialty, multi-grain ales and lagers.

  • 6 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

After 3 months in primary, I convinced rob to keg this puppy. Tastes is a nice rustic grapefruity IPA spiced with rye

Gave a few to a friend to try. His comments were, considering it's a rye IPA, it is very sessionable. Low alcohol combined with a good balance of malt and hops. Hops are noticeable but not overwhelming. English yeast leaves enough sugar to keep it malty.
