  • 16 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 1 1/2 oz Yeast nutrients - (omitted from calculations)

  • 2 oz acid blend - (omitted from calculations)

  • Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.

Notes

Add honey to water and Boil, skim off the foam that rises once the honey comes to a boil REMOVE THE HEAT, add nutrient and acid blend after it has cooled
