I'm trying to create a Pilsner which is not sweet but leaves the pallat with a good malt flavor

Ingredients (Partial Mash5 gal)

  • 2 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 6.0 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .6 oz Northern Brewer - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Northern Brewer

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • .4 oz Perle - 8.2 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Perle

    Used mainly for its minty bittering and good green hop aromas in all non-pilsener lagersand wheats. Aroma is pleasant and slightly spicy

  • .4 oz Hallertauer Tradition - 6.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

  • 1/2 oz Irish Moss - (omitted from calculations)
