Notes

Brewed on 3/26/2012. Created a 750 ml starter from part of the wort collected from the sparge. Mashed in for 90 minutes at 154 Sparged and collected 8 gallons of water. 90 Minute boil. Chilled using counterflow chiller. Collected about 7 gallons of wort. Allowed to settle out protein in 2 buckets for about 24 hours while starter was going. After 24 hours collected top 6 gallons of wort and added it with the starter to my 6 gallon barrel. Fermentation was active in less than 12 hours, had to install blowoff tube.
