  • 1.5 oz Cascade - 5.9 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Notes

steep grains in 3 gallons of 155 deg. water for 45min remove and bring to a boil, add extract and honey. bring back to a boil and follow hop schedule. add irish moss at T minus 15min. cool, rack to primary and add yeast. ferment 5 -7 days, rack to secondary for 2 weeks. the secondary hops are optional and should be put into a hop bag if used. prime and bottle

this is one of the best....

I would have to say that this is the best batch of beer that I have brewed so far. This beer has a very deep golden red color. The aroma is a of spicy malt. Sips of this beer bite the tongue a little at first, but quickly change into a sweet caramel flavor. Very very good.
