  • 11 lbs English 2-row Pale

    English 2-row Pale

    All English Ales. Workhorse of British Brewing. Infusion Mash.

  • 1.25 lbs Medium Crystal Malt; Simpsons

    Ale colour and flavour adjustment tailored to requirement.

  • 1 lbs Caramel Pilsen Malt; Malteries Franco-Belges

    Caramel Pilsen Malt; Malteries Franco-Belges

    This malt is obtained by adapted malting, saccharification and smooth torrification of selected barleys in order to develop the aroma and color. This malt adds a fine and pleasant caramel aroma.

  • 2 oz Fuggle - 4.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

    Wyeast 1968 London ESB Ale™

    Highly flocculant top-fermenting strain with rich, malty character and balanced fruitiness. This strain is so flocculant that additional aeration and agitation is needed. An excellent strain for cask-conditioned ales.

Notes

Mash at 154F (high temp to promote dextrins) for 60 mins or until starch test negative. Sparge to collect 6 gallons. Boil for 20 minutes before hop addition. Boil centennials for 60 mins; add fuggles when 15 mins remain
