Czech-grown two-row spring barley “HANKA”. Processed specifically for “Bohemian” characteristics to impart a full body, golden-blond color, and complex maltiness to the finished brew. Recommended Quantities: Up to 100% of total grain bill. Suitability (beer styles): All lagers (especially Pils/Pilsner/Pilsener) as well as low-alcohol, “light“, and Belgian ales and lagers.

This is the simpliest of beers. When fermenting in the lower range of the yeasts range, this pils will age into a full grown lager in just a few weeks. Watch out for diacetyl. Cold crash for a couple of weeks and lager for 2 weeks. Suitable for drinking very young due to the hop profile. I have brewed this several times, some times with a tweak of hops at the end, for example some cascade...
