Named after the Chapel in my home town of Chievres, Messieres, Hainaut, Belgium. Simple beer with transnational taste, a bit of Belgium and a it of USA, Corn Oats and Barley !

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 3 lbs Belgian Munich

    Belgian Munich

    Used to increase malt aroma and body with slightly more color.

  • 3 lbs Corn Grits

    Corn Grits

    Imparts a corn/grain taste. Use in American lagers.

  • 3 lbs Oats Flaked

    Oats Flaked

    Belgian White Ale(wit), other specialty beers.

  • 1 lbs Barley Flaked

    Barley Flaked

    Helps head retention, imparts creamy smoothness. For porters and stouts.

  • 1.0 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 0.5 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.5 oz Willamette - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy
