Ingredients (All Grain10 gal)

  • 15 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 5 lbs Wheat Raw

    Wheat Raw

    Contributes glyco-proteins to enhance foam stability.

  • 2 oz Spalt Spalter - 4.1 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Spalt Spalter

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 1 oz Hallertau - 4.9 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Hallertau

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

    Classic pilsner strain from the home of pilsners for a dry, but malty finish. The perfect choice for pilsners and bock beers. Sulfur produced during fermentation dissipates with conditioning.

Thought this was going to be to hoppy for style. Not so!

This turned out to be a great complexly hopped beer.Very true to style for a bohemian pils. Like the mix of hops. Was smooth and not biting at all. Glad it had time to age in the keg!
