Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 3 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 3 lbs Vienna Malt; Meussdoerffer

    Vienna Malt; Meussdoerffer

Higher kilning temperatures give Meussdoerffer Vienna malt its deep golden color and strong malt flavor. Best used in dark lagers and Marzen beer.

  • .5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 2.5 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Corn Flaked (Maize)

Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

  • 0.5 oz Brewers Gold - 9.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Brewers Gold

Sibling of and similar to Bullion only maturing earlier and more disease resistant. English/wild Canadian cross. Pungent English character. very poor

  • White Labs WLP001 California Ale

    White Labs WLP001 California Ale

This yeast is famous for its clean flavors, balance and ability to be used in almost any style ale. It accentuates the hop flavors and is extremely versatile.

Mash Temp: 152-155 is good OG: first time i did it i had a OG of around 1.044 FG: 1.006 I primed and bottled. After 13 days it was pretty awesome.. This beer, to me, is a good easy way of getting a everyday drinker that the masses will enjoy. Also, the first time i made it, i used 6-row and Safeale-05. They worked out nicely but the 2-row is always a better choice. Yeast was good. I like to play around with the yeast tho. It is a good beer to try stuff on. Also, during your boil, add Irish Moss for clearing and you can even add corn sugar @ 1oz per gallon for extra alcohol and sweetness. Enjoy! i sure do...
