  • 1 lbs American Caramel 10°L

    This malt is light in color with a sweet caramel flavor. It is a great malt for light lagers and ales.

  • 2 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 3.3 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1.5 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Notes

steep the grain in 155deg water for 30min. remove. bring to a boil, add extract, and bring back to a boil add hops according to schedule. cool to 70deg. and pitch with yeast. a 1qt. to 2qt. starter is suggested. primary for 5 days at 50deg. secondary for 6 weeks at 35deg.
