An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. Approximately 6 days in the fermenter. Placed in refrige and will stay at 40 deg F for 7 days.

After removing from the frige for a week (38 deg. F), this dog was very clear! Ran the calcs and it came out to 6.5% Alc by volume. The color actually was lighter than the recipe calculated, very very close to the Sam Adams Boston Lager color. Hopefully it will taste as good.
Taste test

OK, definitely not a Sam Adam's Lager. This turned out more like a Coors Amber Lager, not bad, Amber in color, rich taste, very easy to drink, good a hot sumer day. All in all I am not dissapointed, the beer is still within my drinkability criteria.
