Slight residual diacetyl and fruitiness; great for stouts. Clean, smooth, soft and full-bodied.
Notes
Steep grains at 140-150 degrees for 45 Min. Bring to wort to a boil and pull grains, let drip. Add DME and Kent Goldings, boil for 50 Min. Add Perle hops for 15 Min. Cool, Rack and Pitch yeast at around 70 degrees. Note: 2 cups to 1 pound DME and .20 honey is equal to Just a tad over a 1/4 cup.

Just bottled this. Could be a bit redder if you like the really red. Taste is smooth, almost sweet. Very nice! Should fare well with non-beer heads and home brewers. Carbing up in the bottle now. Will post again in a week or so.

Delicious! Malty, and about 80% bubbly in one week of conditioning. For the deeper red-heads, possibly up the Special B a bit. Still fabulous as is!
