Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 2.88 lbs American 6-row Pale

    American 6-row Pale

Tends to increase lautering efficiency due to a stiffer husk. May be used as the base malt for any beer style. The enzymes in all varieties of the current crop are sufficient to support high percentages of specialty malts and adjuncts.

  • 3.27 lbs 2-Row Brewers Malt; Briess

    2-Row Brewers Malt; Briess

Mild malty flavor. Characteristics & Applications: • Base malt for all beer styles • Smoother, less grainy flavor than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Slightly higher yield than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Slight lower protein than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 2-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • 0.07 lbs Amber; Crisp

    Amber; Crisp

Unlike Crystal or Caramalt, the starting material for Amber Malt is a kilned Pale Ale malt. Amber Malt is typically used as a small proportion of the grist (0.5%) in the preparation of beers requiring some substantial depth of color.

  • 0.07 lbs Light Brown Sugar

    Light Brown Sugar

Imparts rich, sweet flavor. Use in Scottish ales, old ales and holiday beers.

  • 0.35 lbs Wheat Flakes; Gilbertson & Page

    Wheat Flakes; Gilbertson & Page

Mash Ready Wheat Flakes will greatly increase head retention and body when used in an amount as low as 8% of your total grist. Can be used in amounts of up to 40% of grist total.

  • 0.1 oz Admiral - 12.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Admiral

Admiral hops are known for their high acid content, delivering a bold yet smooth bitterness. They showcase notes of orange citrus and herbal undertones, making them an excellent choice for crafting more bitter Pale Ales and ESBs.

  • Wyeast 2007 Pilsen Lager™

    Wyeast 2007 Pilsen Lager™

A classic American pilsner strain, smooth, malty palate. Ferments dry and crisp.
