  • 6 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2 lbs German Dark Munich

    Enhances body and aroma. Stout, schwarzbier, brown ale, dark and amber ales.

  • 1/2 lbs American Victory

    American Victory

    Provides a deep golden to brown color. Use in nut brown ales, IPAs and Scottish ales.

  • 1/2 lbs American Black Patent

    American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • 1 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 1 oz Hallertau - 5.3 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

Notes

Step Mash: 130 deg for 20 minutes, 154 for 90 minutes or until conversion. Use pils instead of domestic 2 row if desired. Needs very soft water. Honey is optional, substitute more munich.
